The Hollister Brand

In the search for information over Abercrombie & Fitch I found the brand Hollister. No surprise, because the two belong to the same company. The advertising and sales strategy is the same for both brands. In general, it seems that the two brands do not differ very much and the styles and looks are almost identical. While Hollister is a bit more “maritime” both brands have the familiar blue and white striped polo shirts or dresses with patterns. Hollister is also aimed at a much younger audience than Abercrombie & Fitch. Hollister focuses on the looks for teens while Abercrombie & Fitch has a focus on the twenty-somethings. Anyway, things from Hollister immediately remind me of sun, beach and sea even though the city of Hollister, CA is about 30 miles away from the beach!
